CHIN UP - Family Respite Services
Registered in 1994 we are a local charity established to relieve children and young people (0-18 years) suffering from a progressive or terminal illness by the provision of facilities for family breaks or respite care in the North-East & Cumbria. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of people, we have been able to purchase and operate a holiday home in the Seahouses area of Northumberland. This half-way house, which opened in March 2006, now provides much needed, free holiday breaks to families with a child/young person suffering from a progressive or terminal illness.
